Formative activity that we organized in the Faculty of Informatics of the Complutense University of Madrid, for the second time in 2021 since a first edition was held in 2015. The coordinator is again Federico Peinado Gil, Lecturer on Video Game Design and Artificial Intelligence with the participation of the most relevant professionals and companies in the sector, such as Michael Santorum (Tequila Works), Javier Vela (MercurySteam Entertainment), Víctor Blanco (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Studio), Francisco Moreno (Sngular), Beatriz Díaz (Mediatonic / Epic Games), ex students such as Blanca Macazaga and Javier Landaburu (Electronic Arts), etc.

This activity consists of a theoretical-practical course on how quality control works in the interactive entertainment industry and how to professionally perform the work of video game tester. It consists of 20 hours distributed between presentation of theoretical-practical content online and tutoring of the work done by students, in addition to the delivery of a final memory of the work individually prepared by the students (a total of 1 ECTS credit) on video games and the tools tested. It is aimed at all students of the Faculty of Informatics, with a total offer of 75 places and totally free registration. The selection of students, if any, will be made by rated the academic record.
In order to apply for recognition of appropriations, assistance is mandatory, which will be monitored in all sessions, and to pass the final assessment of the work carried out during the development of this training activity.
